Nice hotel for 2 stars,warm service, delicious breakfast, have all necessary amenities (shower, toilet, perfectly white towels, soap, shampoo and e.t.c)
located near Monastery. In the morning from 5am till 5:30am deep monastery bells start to ring. Very loudly! So It's better to take earplugs!

Location was excellent and food at the hotel dining room was very good. The staff was friendly.
The room was clean but quite small. Some paint was peeling off the ceiling. Shower was not in a separate room. It was in our sleeping area. Although cramped, it was an ok value for one night.

The Location is excellent for those wanting to visit the abbey of Einsiedeln..right across from it, and a 10 minute walk to train station....small town. The Hotel has a small elevator, however you must carry your luggage up a full flight to get to the elevator..Payed 130 swiss francs (abt 145 dollars) for a twin room with breakfast. No telephone, no air, no frig, sink in room, but none in bathroom. Hotel is not in great condition but the room was functional and the location is great! The early prayer bells (vigil) go off at 5:15am and last for 15 minutes. Also bells ring all night...so if you need to sleep sound do not stay in Einsiedeln...!

Location suited our purpose, a small traditional Swiss style hotel with comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast. Late booking on same day via iPhone & internet was easy and though reception staff not available for our very late arrival,the hotel key was left available to to pick up from a security box.
The hotel room we had, the last one available, had facilities that were all functional for our one night stay, but which could do with some basic renovation to make it more appealing. Perhaps new paintwork, carpet and electrical fittings all checked over would be enough!

We enjoyed the view of the church, the restaurant and the proximity to everything we wanted.
The room was too cold for us.
